Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

2014 is the 50th anniversary of the publication of one of our favourite books.
Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

2 Movies have been made of this story -
1971's "Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory" starring Gene Wilder and Peter Ostrum (who is a veterinarian now)
and
2005's "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory" with Johnny Depp and Freddie Highmore.

Relax on a warm spring day at the Elora Greenspace park.
Located at the corner of Mill St and Metcalfe St, this unique park is a perfect place to take a break.
It boasts big beautiful Muskoka chairs to sit back and relax, enjoy a Gelato from Sweet Distractions, and take in some beautiful sculptures done by amazing artists.

Sweet Distractions is right across the street from the Elora GreenSpace Park.
We are a unique Candy store about 20 minutes north of Guelph, Ontario.

Sweet Distractions is located in the picturesque village of Elora, Ontario - only 20 minutes away from Guelph, Ontario.

take Highway 6 North to Highway 7. Turn Left and continue along #7, turn right at #21 (at the ShoeVilla Plaza). Go around the roundabout to Metcalfe St, once you cross the Metcalfe St Bridge, turn left on Mill St. and we are on your Left at #16 Mill St West. (Guelph Area Candy Store).

There is another facebook page for Elora, Ontario - that is run by a local business owner who promotes his own businesses and his claim is: "Our Mission to promote Elora Ontario as a World Class Tourism destination." but if you look closely, he is mostly promoting his store which sells olive oil and vinegar, and his pet friendly rental apartment. 

Do not be fooled by wolf in sheep's clothing. He is an unscrupulous business owner who trashtalks other businesses, blackballs them from his fan page, and actively tries to do harm to other businesses in the area.
